Akibat Semburan Minyak, SMAN 2 Keluang Diliburkan

SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM, SEKAYU – Semburan minyak yang terjadi di Jalan Nusantara Kampung Baru Kecamatan Keluang yang mengalir deras, Rabu (14/9) lalu, jajaran Forkopimcam Kecamatan Keluang, Jumat (16/9/2022) berhasil mengatasi semburan tersebut.

Lokasi semburan minyak hasil pengeboran secara ilegal berada tidak jauh dari sekolah SMAN 2 Keluang.

Akibat semburan tersebut yang mencapai ketinggian hingga 10 meter itu, aktivitas belajar mengajar di SMAN 2 Keluang terpaksa diliburkan sementara.

“Semburan minyak sudah bisa dikendalikan, dan aktifitas sekolah sudah berjalan normal, sesuai arahan Pj Bupati Muba Apriyadi, seluruh jajaran Forkopimcam berjibaku turut mensterilkan lokasi dan andil menghentikan semburan minyak,” ujar Camat Keluang Debby Heryanto, Jumat (16/9).

Lanjut Debby, jajaran Forkopimcam dengan peralatan seadanya tetap siaga khawatir semburan minyak kembali terjadi.

“Kami tetap berjaga di area sekirar semburan, dan warga tidak diperbolehkan mendekati lokasi karena distrerilkan,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Pj Bupati Muba Drs Apriyadi MSi mengaku dirinya terus berkoordinasi dengan Forkopimda Muba untuk memastikan lokasi semburan minyak di Keluang tidak menimbulkan potensi kebakaran dan korban jiwa.

“Makanya yang paling prioritas kami lakukan di Muba ini evakuasi masyarakat, jangan sampai terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Keselamatan warga paling utama,” kataya.

Apriyadi mengaku, ketika mendapatkan informasi semburan minyak tersebut yang tak jauh dari lokasi sekolah Pemkab Muba melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Muba langsung menginstruksikan pihak sekolah untuk libur sementara dari aktifitas belajar.
