Sejarah Suku Banjar di Kalimantan Selatan, Begini Faktanya

SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Suku Banjar merupakan salah satu suku bangsa yang menduduki wilayah Kalimantan Selatan selama berabad-abad.

Mayoritas penduduk di Kalimantan Selatan adalah suku Banjar. Suku Banjar adalah suku asli Kalimantan Selatan.

Namun diketahui bahwa suku Banjar terdiri dari beberapa suku yaitu suku Bukit, Maanyan, Lawangan dan Ngaju yang banyak juga dipengaruhi oleh suku Melayu dan Jawa.

Terbentuknya suku Banjar memiliki sejarah yang panjang sebelum mereka bermigrasi ke tempat yang sekarang menjadi provinsi Kalimantan Selatan lebih dari seribu tahun yang lalu.

Suku Banjar merupakan suku bangsa yang mayoritas penduduknya tinggal di Kalimantan Selatan. menyebut dirinya Urang Banjar.

Suku Banjar terdiri dari beberapa suku seperti suku Dayak, Bukit dan Bugis yang banyak juga dipengaruhi oleh suku Melayu dan Jawa.

Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa suku Banjar berasal dari percampuran beberapa suku, meskipun dominan suku Dayak.

Untuk Kalimantan Selatan sendiri, pada tanggal 1 Januari 1957, sebuah provinsi merdeka secara resmi dimulai di Pulau Kalimantan.

Bahkan keberadaan suku Banjar sudah sampai ke mancanegara, seperti Madagaskar di benua Afrika.

Pada umumnya cara-cara budaya masyarakat Banjar berakar dari suku Dayak Kaharingan.
