Melalui Pemberdayaan UMKM, PPUMI Tingkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat

SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Selatan, H. Mawardi Yahya (MY) mengukuhkan Pengurus Pemberdayaan Perempuan UMKM Indonesia (PPUMI) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Pelantikan Pengurus PPUMI Kab/Kota se-Sumsel dilaksanakan di Auditorium Graha Bina Praja, Kamis 17 November 2022.

“Tujuan mulia PPUMI dalam membantu UMKM tentunya merupakan tujuan yang mulia dalam membantu ekonomi masyarakat kita, tentunya ini juga akan memberikan dampak positif pada perekonomian negara”, tutur MY.

MY juga mengucapkan selamat atas telah dikukuhkannya PPUMI Provinsi Sumsel serta PPUMI Kab/Kota masa bakti 2021-2026, “Saya ucapkan selamat, kepada PPUMI yang baru saja dikukuhkan. Semoga dengan adanya PPUMI, UMKM disumsel dapat lebih maju dan berkembang”, tutur MY.

Selain itu MY juga menegaskan bahwa produk – produk yang dihasilkan oleh pelaku UMKM harus terpenuhi dengan standar – standar yang telah ditentukan, seperti label Halal, BPOM dan lain sebagainnya.

“Yang tadi dijelaskan oleh ketum tentang bantuan sertifikat halal untuk produk UMKM, itu merupakan langkah yang baik agar produk UMKM lebih dipercaya ditengah masyarakat”, ungkap MY.

Mengakhiri sambutannya MY berharap agar PPUMI Sumsel dapat segera mengukuhkan kepengurusan PPUMI Kab/Kota yang belum dikukuhkan, Kamis 17 November 2022.

Sementara itu Ketua Umum DPP PPUMI, Dr. Hj. Munifah Syanwani menyampaikan bahwa organisasi PPUMI mendedikasikan dirinya untuk menjadi mitra kerja pemerintah sebagai kepanjangan tangan pemerintah dalam menjangkau pelaku UMKM agar lebih berkembang dan maju.
