“Jangan pernah takut menggunakan keuangan desa selama dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dengan baik. Saya minta bapak-bapak kades jalan saja agar target pembangunan kita tidak meleset,”ujarnya.
Muara Enim penuh dengan potensi SDA, banyak pembangunan yang didukung oleh perusahaan milik negara dan swasta. Maka soliditas ini yang harus dijaga dengan persatuan dan kerukunan.
Selain itu, Herman Deru inginkan Pemkab Muara Enim juga menyeimbangkan pembangunan infrastruktur dengan pembangunan SDM. Terutama edukasi pencegahan tindak pindana korupsi bagi aparat pemerintah.
“Laksanakan pemerintahan dengan terbuka, apabila menemukan permasalahan maka dapat berkonsultasi pada satu jenjang Pemerintah di atasnya,” katanya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Herman Deru juga terus menggaungkan program Gerakan Sumsel Mandiri Pangan agar dapat diimplementasikan hingga ke desa-desa.
Pj Bupati Muara Enim, Kurniawan, A.P., M.Si., katakan kegiatan ini merupakan akhir dari rangkaian HUT Muara Enim ke 76. Dihadiri perwakilan masing-masing 7 orang terdiri atas Kades,Perangkat Desa dan tokoh masyarakat.
Kegiatan ini bertemakan Mewujudkan Kemandirian dan Ketahanan Pangan Desa Menuju Sumsel Mandiri Pangan.
