PALEMBANG, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Kota Palembang kembali meraih Piala Anugerah Adipura Kategori Kota Metropolitan dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK).
Dengan penghargaan ini, Palembang tercatat sudah meraih 13 kali Piala Adipura.
Piala itu diserahkan langsung oleh Menteri LHK RI dan diterima Wali Kota Palembang Harnojoyo, di kantor Kementerian, Selasa 28 Febuari 2023.
Usai menerima penghargaan, Wali Kota Harnojoyo menyatakan syukur dan bangga, sekaligus berterima kasih kepada masyarakat Palembang.
“Kami sangat berterima kasih kepada masyarakat Kota Palembang, yang terus komitmen untuk menjaga lingkungan. Terbukti untuk ke-13 kalinya kita tetap mempertahankan piala Adipura kategori kota Metropolitan ini,” kata Harnojoyo.
Ia menyebutkan, tanpa komitmen dan kolaborasi yang baik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat, tentu Piala Adipura tak mungkin diraih.
“Jadi penghargaan ini sebetulnya ditunjukan untuk masyarakat kota Palembang. Dan kami sangat mengapresiasi atas kolaborasi dari masyarakat dan lemerintah yang terus menjaga Kota Palembang tercinta ini,” ujar Harnojoyo.
Ia meyakini bahwa Palembang akan mampu mempertahankan bahkan terus meraih prestasi terbaik dalam penataan dan pengelolaan lingkungan.
“Kita akan terus raih kembali dan terus mempertahankan semua ini,” ujar Harnojoyo pula. (ril)
