“Proses seleksi calon anggota KPAD di Sumatera Selatan melalui panitia seleksi menjadi yang pertama, untuk itu panitia seleksi harus mampu dalam memberikan informasi kepada publik mengenai persyaratan dan proses seleksi, agar kualitas penyelenggaraan perlindungan anak di daerah optimal,” ucap Anggota KPAI Margaret Aliyatul Maimunah.

Proses seleksi mulai dari uji administrasi, uji substansi, uji publik, hingga uji tahap DPRD juga disampaikan dalam audiensi, dimana proses-proses tersebut telah sesuai dengan pedoman pembentukan KPAD.

“Pentingnya proses tahapan seleksi anggota KPAD tentu untuk menentukan calon anggota yang memiliki perspektif perlindungan anak, sehingga anggota terpilih tidak akan terganggu atas dorongan politik, melainkan fokus dalam kompetensi sebagai anggota KPAD,” tutup Ketua KPAI. (ril)
