Telkomsel menghadirkan program tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan (Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR) yang bertajuk “Telkomsel Jaga Bumi”.

Telkomsel Jaga Bumi program inisiatif CSR yang Telkomsel hadirkan untuk membuka peluang bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia agar dapat terlibat langsung dalam menjaga kelestarian dan masa depan bumi melalui upaya-upaya kolaboratif.

Inisiatif tersebut juga menjadi langkah konkrit Telkomsel sebagai pelaku industri yang menerapkan prinsip berkelanjutan yang mengacu pada prinsip environment, social and governance (ESG) pada setiap proses bisnis perusahaan.

Sebagai langkah awal, Telkomsel berfokus pada isu pengelolaan waste management dengan menjalin kolaborasi bersama platform PlusTik untuk mendaur ulang hasil limbah kartu perdana.

Kartu perdana berbahan material plastik seperti kemasan kartu perdana dan cangkang simcard menjadi new non single use product, di antaranya smartphone holder dan pavement blocks.

Vice President Corporate Communications Telkomsel Saki Hamsat Bramono mengatakan, “Di tengah kemajuan teknologi yang begitu pesat, Indonesia masih terus dihadapi oleh permasalahan lingkungan yang mengancam kehidupan di masa depan.”

Diperlukannya collective actions, melalui upaya dan kolaborasi antara seluruh stakeholder dalam mengimplementasikan strategi dan solusi untuk mencapai tujuan bersama tersebut.
