Penumpang LRT Sumsel tahun 2022 menunjukkan tren kenaikan. (Ft:kai.id)

PALEMBANG, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Memasuki Triwulan IV 2022 tingkat okupansi LRT Sumsel terus membaik. LRT Sumsel ini memberikan alternatif transportasi bagi masyarakat kota Palembang

”Trend kenaikan penumpang terus membaik,” kata Kabag Humas PT KAI Divre III Palembang, Aida Suryanti.

Trend kenaikan okupansi LRT ini karena banyak pengguna jasa yang memanfaatkan kartu berlangganan pelajar, mahasiswa maupun untuk pegawai serta mulai banyakny aktivitas tatap muka

Rata – rata penumpang harian LRT Sumsel di Oktober 2022 mencapai 9.666 penumpang setiap harinya dengan jumlah kumulatif hingga pertengahan Oktober ini sebanyak 2.328.970 penumpang..

Aida juga menjelaskan untuk mengakomodir permintaan masyarakat mulai 5 September 2022 perjalanan LRT Sumsel bertambah menjadi 94 perjalanan dari sebelumnya 88 perjalanan per harinya.

Dengan tarif 5000 antar stasiun LRT Sumsel selain stasiun Bandara dan 10000 untuk stasiun dari dan menuju bandara.

Menurut Aida ada 3 stasiun paling banyak naik turun penumpang bulan Oktober 2022. Yaitu Stasiun Asrama Haji (36.028), Stasiun Ampera (26.482) dan Stasiun DJKA (25.259).

Dengan waktu operasional LRT Sumsel mulai jam 05 05 WIB, dan keberangkatan terakhir dari stasiun Bandara pukul 19.55 WIB tiba di stasiun DJKA pukul 20.43 WIB.

LRT Sumsel memiliki 13 stasiun di sepanjang pusat kota Palembang.  Melewati bandara SMB II, Rumah Sakit, Sekolah, Pusat perbelanjaan dan perdagangan, ikon kota Palembang jembatan Ampera dan Sungai Musi serta pusat olahraga.
