Mengenal Sejarah Makam Kerajaan Sabokingking

SRIWIWJAYAPLUS.COM – Sabokinging adalah makam kerajaan. Nama saboking berasal dari bahasa Sansekerta. Sama dengan kerajaan Majapahit, nama rajanya adalah Hayam Wuruk.

Pada saat yang sama, Sabokinging diperintah oleh seorang raja bernama Pangeran Sido Ing Kenayan. Pangeran ini berasal dari Jawa. Dan nama istrinya adalah Ratu Sinuhun. Pangeran ini memiliki seorang guru spiritual atau penasehat bernama Habib Muh. Nuh.

Berdirinya kerajaan ini, berdasarkan perkiraan para arkeolog dari sekitar tahun 1616-1628. Pangeran Sido Ing Kenayan adalah seorang penyebar atau pengembang agama Islam di Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Berkat perjuangannya, sekitar 80-85% penduduk Palembang beragama Islam.

Pada saat yang sama, istri pangeran atau ratu Sinuhun juga merupakan pembuat peraturan Simbur Cahaya, yang berarti bahwa itu adalah salah satu hukum adat Sumatera Selatan. Karena pada zaman dahulu belum ada hukum pidana, hukum perdata dan hukum seperti sekarang ini.

Simbur Cahaya tunduk pada hukum adat. Hukum adat ini meliputi cara-cara di mana perempuan dan laki-laki menikah, melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang dilarang oleh agama dan tradisi lainnya. Jika ingin lebih jelas, lihatlah prasasti yang diterima dan diakui oleh pemerintah, arkeolog, dan negara.

Setelah kematian pangeran ini, ia digantikan oleh putranya Pangeran Sido Ing Rajek, yang makamnya di Indralaya di Sako Tigo. Dan setelah masa jabatan para penerus itu berakhir, sekitar 150-200 tahun kemudian muncullah Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin, sehingga SMB berada di bawah kerajaan Sabokingking. Di atas makam Sabokinging adalah Bukit Besar yang bernuansa Hindu.

Di kerajaan ini ada pusat agama Hindu, yaitu Shakyakirti dan Dharmapala, sebelum raja Aryo Damaris menjadi seorang Muslim.

Jadi sampai sekarang Shakyakirti dan Dharmapala mempertahankan nama mereka. Ketika Aryo Damar masuk Islam, namanya berubah menjadi Abdilla. Karena orang Palembang menyebutnya Ariodilo, maka jalan itu disebut Ariodilo.

Akhirnya kerajaan Sriwijaya muncul. Setelah itu, Sriwijaya ambruk dan masuk ke Sabokinging dan menyebarkan agama Islam. Belakangan, pemeluk agama Hindu berkurang dan sebagian besar umat Islam, termasuk seorang raja bernama Aryo Damar, masuk Islam.

Dan apa yang dapat dibuktikan oleh para arkeolog, sebelum Arjo Damar masuk Islam, kuburan-kuburan itu menghadap ke timur, utara, dan selatan. Ketika Aryo Damar masuk Islam, kuburan umat Islam akhirnya menghadap kiblat (barat). Kompleks Makam Sabokingking juga berada di kawasan PT Pusri. Orang yang dimakamkan di kompleks ini antara lain Pangeran Sido Ing Kenayan (1630-162 M). Sido Ing Kenayan adalah Raja Palembang yang menggantikan pamannya Pangeran Sido Ing Puro (162-1630 M) dan kemudian digantikan oleh sepupunya Pangeran Sido Ing Pasarea (162-13 M).
