LAMPUNG, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) memulai pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) berkapasitas 42 kilowatt peak (kWp) di Kampung Rejosari Mataram, Kecamatan Seputih Mataram, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. PLTS ini nantinya akan menyuplai listrik untuk 2 pompa irigasi yang mengairi sawah seluas 150 hektar.
“Harapan kami, semoga bisa bermanfaat khususnya di lahan pertanian di Lampung Tengah. Deara ini dikenal lumbung padi, jagung, ketela, dan lainnya. Semoga dengan bantuan ini nanti irigasi tidak jadi masalah lagi, lahan semakin subur,” ujar General Manager PTBA Unit Pelabuhan Tarahan, Rabu 5 Oktober 2022.
Peletakan batu pertama pembangunan PLTS dilaksanakan di lahan persawahan Kampung Rejosari Mataram pada Rabu (5/10). Bupati Lampung Tengah Musa Ahmad dan General Manager PTBA Unit Pelabuhan Tarahan Dadar Wismoko hadir dalam kesempatan ini.
Bupati Lampung Tengah Musa Ahmad berharap adanya PLTS ini dapat meningkatkan produksi petani. ”Dari yang semula hany panen satu kali setahun bisa meningkat hingga tiga kali panen,” harap Musa.
