Telkomsel secara konsisten telah memastikan kesiapan jaringan broadband dan ketersediaan ragam layanan digital terkini, yang diharapkan dapat menunjang kenyamanan aktivitas telekomunikasi bagi para pelanggan.
Direktur Network Telkomsel Nugroho mengatakan, “Telkomsel mengucapkan selamat memperingati Hari Natal bagi masyarakat yang merayakan dan selamat menyambut Tahun Baru dengan penuh optimisme untuk kita semua.
Setiap tahun, Telkomsel sebagai digital society enabler secara konsisten terus membuka lebih banyak potensi kemajuan bagi pelanggan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman terbaik dalam menikmati kemeriahan Hari Raya Natal 2022 dan Tahun Baru 2023.
Dengan Program Telkomsel Siaga, kami terus berupaya menunjang kenyamanan aktivitas telekomunikasi dan digital dengan menyiapkan kapabilitas serta keunggulan teknologi jaringan broadband terdepan, melalui penyediaan kualitas, kapasitas, cakupan jaringan yang merata dan setara hingga pelosok negeri.
Menyongsong pergantian tahun kali ini, kami juga ingin menyatukan semangat bangsa dengan optimisme, melampaui keterbatasan untuk terus berdaya dan bangkit lebih kuat.”
Selama momen perayaan Natal 2022 dan Tahun Baru 2023, Telkomsel memproyeksikan adanya lonjakan trafik layanan data (payload) sebesar 17,6 persen dibandingkan dengan rerata hari biasa, dengan total payload diperkirakan mencapai 52,5 petabyte atau tumbuh 19,1 persen apabila dibandingkan dengan periode NARU tahun sebelumnya.
Proyeksi pertumbuhan layanan data tersebut diperkirakan akan didorong oleh lonjakan pada sejumlah pemanfaatan akses layanan berbasis digital, mulai dari layanan media sosial yang diprediksi tumbuh sekira 31,7 persen, layanan komunikasi (instant messaging dan video conference) melonjak 27,8 persen, layanan streaming video meningkat sekira 29,4 persen, layanan mobile gaming melonjak hingga 18,6 persen, akses browsing naik 24,1 persen, dan akses layanan e-commerce tumbuh sekira 35 persen.
Telkomsel memperkirakan trafik pada layanan SMS akan meningkat sebesar 7,9 persen, dan layanan panggilan suara akan turun 3 persen.
Untuk mengantisipasi lonjakan trafik telekomunikasi tersebut, Telkomsel telah melakukan sejumlah optimalisasi kapasitas dan kualitas jaringan pada 493 titik wilayah prioritas di seluruh Indonesia, yang berpotensi mengalami pertumbuhan trafik telekomunikasi secara signifikan.
Fokus wilayah prioritas tersebut mencakup 363 area spesial (seperti alun-alun dan pusat perbelanjaan), 59 titik pemberangkatan transportasi umum, 21 titik jalur utama mudik, 47 area residensial, 1 rumah sakit pusat penanganan COVID-19, dan 2 tempat ibadah.
Nugroho lebih lanjut menambahkan, Telkomsel juga telah mengintegrasikan hingga 25.000 unit BTS 4G/LTE baru, menyiagakan tambahan 61 unit Compact Mobile BTS (COMBAT), dan meningkatkan kapasitas internet gateway hingga 9,212 Gbps. Di samping itu, Telkomsel pun melakukan optimalisasi network coverage pada lebih dari 196.000 BTS 4G/LTE se-Indonesia dan melaksanakan pemantauan 24 jam.
Dalam rangka menunjang kenyamanan aktivitas telekomunikasi dan digital bagi para pelanggannya selama periode NARU, Telkomsel juga telah memastikan ketersediaan ragam produk dan layanan unggulannya bagi masyarakat Indonesia.
Berbagai program dan promo spesial bagi pelanggan, juga dihadirkan untuk memberikan nilai tambah bagi pelanggan dalam menikmati keseruan momen NARU di seluruh penjuru Indonesia.
