5 Nama Obat Sirup yang Dilarang BPOM RI

BPOM RI melarang 5 merek obat sirup beredar sementara ini. (Ft:ilustrasi)

JAKARTA, SRIWIJAYAPLUS. COM – Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Republik Indonesia telah melakukan pengujian dan sampling terhadap beberapa jenis obat sirup.

BPOM menguji 39 bets dari 26 sirup obat sampai dengan 19 Oktober 2022. Hasilnya, BPOM menemukan ada 5 (lima) produk dengan kandungan cemaran Etilen Glikol (EG) dan Dietilen Glikol (DEG) yang melebih ambang batas.

Berikut 5 (lima) produk obat sirup itu:

1. Termorex Sirup (obat demam).

Produksi PT Konimex dengan nomor izin edar DBL7813003537A1,
kemasan dus, botol plastik @60 ml.

2. Flurin DMP Sirup (obat batuk dan flu).

Produksi PT Yarindo Farmatama dengan nomor izin edar DTL0332708637A1, kemasan dus, botol plastik @60 ml.

3. Unibebi Cough Sirup (obat batuk dan flu). 

Produksi Universal Pharmaceutical Industries dengan nomor izin edar DTL7226303037A1, kemasan Dus, Botol Plastik @ 60 ml.

4. Unibebi Demam Sirup (obat sirup  demam).

Produksi Universal Pharmaceutical Industries dengan nomor izin edar DBL8726301237A1, kemasan Dus, Botol @ 60 ml.

5. Unibebi Demam Drops (obat sirup demam).  Produksi Universal Pharmaceutical Industries dengan nomor izin edar DBL1926303336A1, kemasan Dus, Botol @ 15 ml.

Sesuai acuan Farmakope dan standar baku nasional yang diakui, ambang batas aman atau Tolerable Daily Intake (TDI) untuk cemaran EG dan DEG sebesar 0,5 mg/kg berat badan per hari.

Kelima obat sirup tersebut, berdasarkan hasil pengujian, menggunakan EG yang melebihi ambang batas aman. (*)
