Update Kasus Gagal Ginjal Akut Meninggal 133, Menkes Budi: Mayoritas Serang Balita

JAKARTA, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Dari 241 pasen kasus gagal ginjal akut di Indonesia, 133 orang meninggal dunia. Menkes Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengatakan sebagian besar pasien berasal dari kelompok anak-anak dan balita.

“Sampai saat ini kami belum bisa mengetahui secara pasti penyebab gagal ginjal akut ini,” kata Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi.

Sejauh ini, 241 kasus penyakit gagal ginjal akut telah diidentifikasi di 22 provinsi, dimana telah mengakibatkan 133 kematian.

“Atau 55 persen kasus meninggal dunia,” kata Menkes Budi saat konferensi pers di Gedung Adhyatma kementerian kesehatan, Jakarta, Jumat 21 Oktober 2022.

Budi memaparkan gejala yang paling umum dari gagal ginjal akut adalah pasien mengalami oliguria (kencing sedikit) atau anuria (tidak kencing sama sekali).

Ia juga menegaskan bahwa penyebab penyakit gagal ginjal akut progresif atipikal belum diketahui. Namun, ia memastikan penyakit misterius ini tidak terkait dengan pemberian vaksin virus corona (Covid-19)

“Apakah karena vaksin? Mereka belum divaksinasi dalam waktu kurang dari lima tahun,” kata Menkes Budi.
