1. Menyelimuti bayi dengan kain

Menyelimuti tubuh bayi dengan kain atau popok merupakan cara yang efektif untuk menenangkan bayi. Cara ini mungkin bekerja persis seperti bayi dalam kandungan ibunya.

Tak hanya itu, cara bedong juga bisa membuat bayi tidur lebih lelap karena menekan refleks kaget yang sering dialami bayi saat tidur.

2. Menggendong bayi dalam posisi tengkurap

Bayi menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di dalam kandungan dengan posisi tengkurap. Oleh karena itu, menggendong bayi di bahu anda sambil berbaring bisa membuatnya merasa lebih nyaman.

Namun, menggendong bayi dan meletakkan tubuhnya dalam posisi ini hanya boleh dilakukan jika bayi terus-menerus menangis. Jika ia tenang, selalu tempatkan tubuhnya dalam posisi terlentang.
