Deru Olahraga Bersama Ribuan Masyarakat di Gebyar Global Sumsel dan KORMI

OKU, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Mengisi akhir pekannya Sabtu 4 Maret 2023 pagi Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru bersama Ketua Komite Olahraga Rekreasi Masyarakat Indonesia (KORMI) Sumsel Hj. Samantha Tivani, B.Bus. M.IB berolahraga bersama ribuan masyarakat Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) pada acara Gebyar Global Sumsel yang digelar di Taman Kota Baturaja.

Tak hanya senam, dan meninjau kegiatan bhakti sosial sunat massal, Gubernur Herman Deru didampingi, Ketua KORMI Sumsel Hj. Samantha Tivani, serta Pj. Bupati OKU H. Teddy Meilwansyah juga ikut menjajal sejumlah tangkai olahraga seperti egrang, bakiak hingga permainan yang tengah viral, lato-lato.

Dalam sambutannya Gubernur Herman Deru mengatakan sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan sehat dan bugar yang diselenggarakan Gebyar Global Sumsel-KORMI Sumsel dan Pemkab OKU.

Menurutnya KORMI Sumsel, Pemkab dan pihak terkait memang harus sering mengadakan kegiatan serupa. Karena olahraga sangat penting dilakukan untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang sehat dan siap berkompetisi.

“Karena untuk menuju sehat itu tidak perlu mahal asal ada kemauan. Maka Saya instruksikan pada KORMI Sumsel ajaklah semua masyarakat dan pihak terkait untuk sering-sering mengadakan kegiatan olahraga bersama di 17 kab/kota di Sumsel,” terangnya.

Lebih jauh Gubernur Herman Deru berharap dengan adanya kegiatan ini negara Indonesia khususnya Sumsel.dan kabupaten OKU dapat menciptakan maayarakat dna generasi yang sehat. Sehingga mereka siap berkompetisi secara global.
