Tapanuli Utara, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Telah terjadi gempa bumi dini hari tadi.
Gempa bumi dengan kekuatan 6,0 Skala Richter (SR) guncang Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara.
Guncangan gempa begitu terasa di Kota Tarutung hingga warga lari keluar rumah.
Hingga saat ini, masyarakat Taput masih di luar rumah sambil berjaga-jaga karena khawatir gempa susulan.
Gempa dengan kedalaman 10 km itu dirasakan dengan MMI IV di daerah Tarutung, IV di Singkil, V di Sipahutar, III di Tapaktuan, dan III di Gunung Sitoli.
Dari pihak Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) mengungkapkan, kekuatan gempa Magnitudo 6.0 terjadi pada Sabtu (1/10/2022) pada pukul 02:28:41 WIB.
Pada pukul 02.50 WIB, gempa kembali terjadi dengan kekuatan 5,1 Magnitudo.
Pukul 03:37 gempa kembali mengguncang dengan kekuatan 5 magnitudo. Lalu terjadi kembali pada 04:30 berkekuatan 3,9 magnitudo.
Data dari BMKG, pusat gempa berada di 15 kilometer barat laut Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Kekutan gempa 6,0 magnitudo dan tidak berpotensi tsunami.
Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) melaporkan gempa yang terjadi di Tapanuli Utara, Sumatra Utara, pada Sabtu (1/10) dini hari, akibat aktivitas sesar besar Sumatra segmen Renun.
“Gempa bumi yang terjadi merupakan jenis gempa bumi dangkal akibat adanya aktivitas sesar besar Sumatra segmen Renun,” ujar Plt Kepala Pusat Gempabumi dan Tsunami BMKG Daryono saat dihubungi dari Jakarta, Sabtu.
Sebelumnya, gempa tektonik dengan magnitudo 5,8 terjadi wilayah Tapanuli Utara pada pukul 02.28 WIB. Episenter gempa terletak pada koordinat 2,11 lintang utara dan 98,83 bujur timur, di darat wilayah Tapanuli Utara, Sumatera Utara, pada kedalaman 10 km.
