PALEMBANG, SRIWIJAYAPLUS.COM – Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru secara resmi membuka kejuaraan Bulutangkis Palembang Cup III Tahun 2022 se-Sumsel di GOR Dempo Jakabaring, Selasa 29 November 2022 pagi. Ia optimis melalui kejuaraan tersebut akan lahir Ahsan dan Rudi Hartono (pemain dunia asli Indonesia) dari Bumi Sriwijaya.
Dalam kesempatan itu Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman mengapresiasi panitia yang berinisiatif menyelenggarakan turnamen. Sebab adanya turnamen ini diyakininya akan dapat menjaring bibit-bibit atlet berprestasi. Penjaringan bibit dengan cara ini juga diapresiasinya karena melibatkan seluruh peserta dari penjuru Sumsel di 17 Kab/kota.
Lebih jauh Ia menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih kepada pihak penyelenggara. Apalagi melihat antusias yang cukup tinggi mecapai 600 orang peserta dari berbagai kategori mulai dari pradini, anak-anak, remaja dan dewasa yang ikut berpartisipasi.
