Cara melakukannya adalah dengan meneteskan urine ke dalam wadah yang berisi secolek pasta gigi. Kalau tidak terjadi reaksi apa pun, ini diartikan sebagai tanda negatif hamil. Namun, sebaliknya, jika terjadi perubahan warna pada pasta gigi dan muncul busa atau buih, maka hasil tesnya diyakini positif.
