PALEMBANG, SRIWIJAYAPLUS. COM, – Satreskrim Satuan Reserse Kriminal Khusus (Pidsus) Polrestabes Palembang melakukan penyisiran dan pengecekan peredaran obat sirup ke beberapa apotik di Palembang.
Langkah ini, kata Kapolres Palembang Kombes Pol Mokhamad Ngajib melalui Kepala Satuan Reserse Kriminal Kompol Tri Wahyudi bentuk pengawasan aktif terhadap edaran pemerintah.
Seperti diketahui, pemerintah sementara waktu melarang semua obat berjenis sirup.

Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Republik Indonesia telah melakukan pengujian dan sampling terhadap beberapa jenis obat sirup.
BPOM menguji 39 bets dari 26 sirup obat sampai dengan 19 Oktober 2022. Hasilnya, BPOM menemukan ada 5 (lima) produk dengan kandungan cemaran Etilen Glikol (EG) dan Dietilen Glikol (DEG) yang melebih ambang batas.

“Ya berguna untuk mencegah penyebaran obat sirup yang mengandung zat berbahaya, dan beberapa
obat disisihkan dan perusahaan berencana untuk segera mengeluarkannya dari pasaran,” kata
